Chiedu Victor Obatu, Architect (MNIA) | PMP® | LEED AP BD+C | ISO 14001 Senior Lead Implementer | EDGE Expert | Driving Climate-Resilient, Energy-Efficient Built Environments | CSM®, is the Director of Projects at El-Mansur Atelier. An Architect, Project Manager and sustainability specialist with over 15 years of experience on projects that integrate design excellence, environmental stewardship, and strategic sustainability implementation.
He brings a comprehensive understanding of sustainable design, environmental compliance, and performance-driven delivery. He is currently advancing his professional expertise with GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, GPM+B (Green Project Management), and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) certifications, to strengthen his capabilities in sustainability reporting, ESG integration, and climate risk management.
In addition to being the resident architect on some of El-Mansur's major airport projects, Chiedu plays key design and project management roles on multinational collaborative efforts with foreign project partners towards the successful delivery of projects across a large range of industries.
Graduating from the University of Nigeria in 2007 where he obtained B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Architecture, Chiedu joined EMA in 2010 after completing his compulsory NYSC programme, and following a brief stint with ATO Architects, Lagos.
